Dormer’s B301 taper pin hand reamer is designed to finish tapered holes to accept a standard 1 in 48 imperial taper pin. Manufactured from High Speed steel in 18 sizes from one sixteenth of an inch to half an inch, the B301 can be used for reaming in many materials including steels, aluminium and stainless steel. With a reduced small diameter, the tool easily locates and centers in the pre-drilled hole to improve accuracy and performance, whilst the precision ground straight flute geometry provides smooth reaming and improves hole size and surface finish. The B301, with a straight shank with square drive, is designed mainly for hand held reaming when held in a suitable wrench.
