Description

Dormer’s E243 is a hand tap which is designed to thread through or blind holes in steel conduit applications (PG). It has a bright finish to give you a more accurate thread by making sure workpiece material will not stick to the cutting edges and is manufactured from premium High Speed steel material with the extra tool life and improved performance this brings. The tap has a straight flute design which makes it suitable for threading both blind holes (holes which stop part way through the workpiece) and through holes (holes going all the way through the workpiece). Manufactured conforming to the German Institute for Standardization, the E243 is available in sizes from PG7 to PG36.
