The E292 machine tap produces metric coarse threads and comes in sizes from M1.6 to M16. The fluteless design gives you effective, chip-free threading in both blind and through holes whilst the titanium nitride coating gives you an improved performance and service life when threading under high pressure and friction. The E292 is manufactured from High Speed cobalt for longer tool life and better performance and conforms to the German Institute for Standardization. The E292 can be used for threading free machining steel, stainless steel, aluminium and other softer materials.
