The steam tempered finish on these taps prevents workpiece material from sticking to the cutting edge so you get a clean, accurate thread and the High Speed steel used in manufacture means you can rely on great performance and extended tool life. The taps conform to guidelines laid down by the International Standards Organization. With a spiral flute, E544 taps are designed to thread blind holes.
