EX006G machine taps for metric coarse 6G threads are available in ten sizes from M3 to M20. They have a spiral flute design so they are ideal for threading holes which stop part way through the workpiece (blind holes), and to give you superior performance and a longer tool life, are manufactured from powder metal High Speed cobalt. They conform to the German Institute for Standardization and have a bright finish which prevents workpiece material from sticking to the cutting edges of the tool, so ensuring a more accurate and cleaner thread. EX006G taps can be used for tapping 6G threads in many materials, including steels, stainless steel and aluminium.
