Description

EX21 machine taps create UNC (Unified Coarse threads). They are manufactured to conform to the German Institute for Standardization and have a spiral flute design to thread blind holes. The steam tempered finish helps prevent workpiece material from sticking to the cutting edge of the tools so you get an accurate and clean thread, whilst the powder metal High Speed cobalt used in manufacture means the performance will be improved and the tool life extended. Many materials can be threaded using the EX21, including steels, stainless steel and aluminium.
