A951 metric drills are part of Dormer’s PFX range with a special parabolic flute design which means you can drill deep holes in a single pass. The drills all have a 130 degree point so the force needed to drill the hole is less than normal and the drill point does not skid over the surface of the workpiece (self-centering). The bright finish prevents workpiece material from sticking to the cutting edge of the drill. A951 drills are made from premium High Speed steel and can be used to drill many different materials including steels, aluminium and stainless steel. Available in diameters from 10.00 mm to 30.00 mm, the drills can also be used in machine applications where the drill is held directly in the spindle, making the A951 a very versatile choice.
