Turning

Turning is a machining operation to produce cylindrical shaped workpieces. These workpieces are typically rotated on a spindle with the cutting tool fed into it radially or axially, or for contoured surfaces in both directions at the same time.

Turning operation consist of external, internal turning, Parting and Face grooving using a range of external holders and Boring bars for internal turning.
