Description

The A205 metric centre drill is recommended for starting a precise hole in the end of a shaft so the shaft can be securely held prior to machining. The A205 has a 60 degree countersink and the 60 degree cone created is used to hold that end of the shaft securely. It has a titanium nitride coating which increases the life of the drill and improves performance when drilling harder materials. Manufactured from High Speed steel, it can machine a number of materials including steels, aluminium and stainless steel. Two drilling ends gives increased productivity per tool and as it can also be used in both conventional machining and CNC machine, the A205 is a very economical option.
