Description

The A345 from Dormer is an extra long series drill bit with a taper shank. It is recommended for drilling very deep holes or for applications where extra reach is required. The steam oxide finish on the A345 helps stop workpiece material from sticking to the cutting edges and the 118 degree point angle provides a strong point which is easy to regrind. The tools, coming in a range of fractional and metric diameters, are made from High Speed steel and can be used to drill a wide variety of material including stainless steel, steels and aluminium. These taper shank drills can be held directly in the spindle.
