Description

The A530 drill has a 118 degree conventional point which is thinned on sizes above 14.00 mm. This provides a strong point which is easy to regrind and the robust design provides increased performance when used on conventional machines. All the drills are titanium nitride coated to improve performance when drilling harder materials and also to increase the life of the drill. The A530 is manufactured from premium High Speed steel and can be used to drill many materials including aluminium, steels and stainless steel. Available in a range of metric sizes from 8.5 mm to 40.0 mm, the taper shank drill can also be used in machining applications where the drill is held directly in the spindle.
