With a high spiral, left hand helix and right hand cutting, the B953 taper pin reamer gives you smooth reaming for improved hole size and surface finish. The taper on the reamer is designed to finish tapered holes to take standard 1 in 50 metric taper pins whilst the taper point has a reduced diameter, making it easier to locate and center in the hole to improve performance and accuracy. The B953 has a straight shank to give you high performance machine reaming. Manufactured from High Speed Cobalt, the B953 taper pin reamer can be used to ream a great many materials including steels, stainless steel and aluminium.
