The E011 machine tap from Dormer will produce metric fine threads and will produce metric coarse threads from M4 to M24. It conforms to the guidelines set down by the International Standardization Organisation and can be used for tapping many materials including steels, stainless steel and aluminium. The steam tempered finish ensures workpiece material will not stick to the cutting edge, whilst the powder metal High Speed cobalt used in manufacture provides superior performance and extended tool life. The E011, with its spiral point design, will thread holes all the way through the workpiece in a wide variety of materials including steels and stainless steel.
