The E043 machine tap from Dormer creates British Standard Pipe fastening – G series threads from size 1/8 inch to 3/4 inch. The tools are manufactured from powder metal High Speed cobalt which means a longer tool life coupled with very good performance. The E043 conforms to the International Standardization Organisation and can be used for tapping many materials including steels, stainless steel and aluminium. With its spiral flute design, the E043 gives great threading in blind holes and the steam tempered finish makes sure you get a clean and accurate thread by preventing workpiece material from sticking to the cutting edges.
