Description

The E250 machine tap is suitable for cutting metric coarse threads in pre-drilled holes in a wide range of sizes from as small as M3 all the way to M52, with a straight flute design so it can be used to thread both blind and through holes. To improve tool life and give you a better performance, the E250 is manufactured from powder metal High Speed cobalt, whilst the bright finish ensures a more accurate thread by making sure workpiece material does not stick to the cutting edge of the tool. The E250 is designed to create threads in a wide range of materials, including steels, aluminium and stainless steel, and conforms to the German Institute for Standardization.
