The E263 machine tap creates metric coarse threads and comes in sizes from M12 to M36. It is made from powder metal High Speed cobalt to improve performance and give you longer tool life and is manufactured to conform to the German Institute for Standardization. The tap has a titanium nitride coating to give better performance when under high pressure and friction, making it great for tool steels. The E263 has a spiral flute design for blind holes and is ideal for tapping shallow holes in tough materials.
