The E294 machine tap is a fluteless tap with lubrication grooves. The fluteless design is very effective in producing chip-free threads in softer materials like free machining steel, stainless steel and aluminium for both through and blind holes. Manufactured to conform to the German Institute for Standardization, the E294 is made from premium High Speed cobalt for improved performance and longer tool life. Additionally, the titanium nitride coating will ensure a longer lasting, better performing tap when under high pressure and friction. The E294 is for metric coarse threading and comes in sizes from M3 to M16.
