The E296 is a fluteless tap for creating metric coarse threads. Manufactured to conform to the German Institute for Standardization, the E295 is made from High speed cobalt for better performance and longer tool life. The titanium nitride coating and fluteless design are very effective in chip free threading with a longer tool life, even under high pressure and friction. Available in sizes from M3 to M10, the E295 produces threads to 6GX tolerance in softer materials such as free machining steel, stainless steel and aluminium.
