Dormer’s E539 machine tap is designed to produce British Standard Fine threads in a number of materials including aluminium, steels and stainless steel. They are manufactured from High Speed steel so you can be confident of a high performance level and good tool life and they also conform to the International Standards Organization. E539 taps have a steam tempered finish to prevent workpiece material from sticking to the tool to make sure they produce accurate, clean threads every time. The taps are designed with a spiral point so are ideal for threading holes which go all the way through the workpiece
