The E547 hand taps for British Standard Pipe (G-series) threads are manufactured from High Speed steel to give you good tool life and performance in many different materials including stainless steel, aluminium and steels. They conform to the International Standardization Organization. The bright finish prevents workpiece material from sticking to the tool so you get a good, clean thread, whilst the straight flute design means E547 taps can be used to thread both holes which go all the way through the workpiece and holes which stop part way through (blind holes)
