E720 machine taps are used to create female National Pipe fuels service or dryseal threads (NPSF) conforming to ANSI standards (the American National Standards Institute). Manufactured from High Speed steel, you get a longer tool life and improved performance. The titanium nitride coating further improves performance when under high pressure and friction, whilst the straight flute design means the taps can be used to efficiently thread both through and blind holes. E720 taps are very versatile and can be used to create NPSF threads in many materials, including stainless steel, steels and aluminium.
