Description

The EP01 tap for metric coarse threads is manufactured from powder metal high speed cobalt improving the life of the tool when threading materials which create high temperatures, making it a very good all round tap and also suitable for use in CNC machines. The steam tempered finish gives it a slightly more slippery surface so workpiece material is less likely to stick to cutting edge. The EP01 is manufactured to German industry standards and has a spiral point design which means it can be used to thread holes going all the way through the material.
