EP10 machine taps produce metric coarse threads and, because of the powder metal High Speed cobalt used in manufacture, give you superior performance and a longer tool life, and are very versatile, being suitable to thread a range of materials, including steels, stainless steel and aluminium. The tools conform to the German Institute for Standardization and have a bright finish which prevents workpiece material from sticking to the cutting edge of the tap, so producing a more accurate and cleaner thread. With a spiral point design, the EP10 is great for threading through holes.
