EP11 metric fine machine taps come in a range of sizes and pitches from M4 to M30 and are manufactured to conform to the German Institute for Standardization. The steam tempered finish ensures an accurate and clean thread by preventing workpiece material from sticking to the cutting edge of the tool. Made from powder metal High Speed cobalt, providing improved performance and longer tool life, the EP11 is designed with a spiral point, making it ideal for threading holes which go all the way through the workpiece material. The EP11 is a very versatile tap and can be used for threading many materials including steels, stainless steel and aluminium.
