Dormer’s EP21 taps are for use in machines and produce Unified Coarse threads (UNC). With a spiral point design, the taps are ideal for threading holes which go all the way through the workpiece, whilst the steam tempered finish prevents workpiece material from sticking to the cutting edge, so giving you clean, accurate threads. EP21 taps are manufactured from powder metal High Speed cobalt which has the benefits of extended tool life and superior performance. They conform to the German Institute for Standardization and can be used to thread a number of materials including steels, aluminium and stainless steel.
