EP41 machine taps create British Standard Pipe – G series threads conforming to the German Institute for Standardization. They are manufactured from powder metal High Speed cobalt for improved performance and longer tool life, and a have steam tempered finish which prevents workpiece material from sticking to the cutting edge of the tool and means you get a more accurate and cleaner thread. The spiral point design makes them ideal for threading through holes and they can be used to thread many materials including steels, aluminium and stainless steel.
