EX006H machine taps can be used to tap metric coarse 6H threads in a number of different materials including steels, aluminium and stainless steel. Manufactured to conform to the German Institute for Standardization, the tools come with a bright finish to stop a build up of workpiece material on the cutting edges of the tool, so ensuring a cleaner, more accurate thread. The spiral flute design means they are good for threading blind holes (stop part way through the workpiece). EX006H taps for 6H threads are manufactured from powder metal High Speed cobalt to give you longer tool life and improved performance.
