EX31 machine taps produce UNF threads (unified fine) and are available in 11 different sizes. The steam tempered finish prevents workpiece material from sticking to the cutting edge of the tool so you will get a more accurate and cleaner thread. For greater performance and longer tool life, the EX31 is made from powder metal High Speed cobalt, and manufactured to conform to the German Institute for Standardization. Capable of threading many materials, including steels, aluminium and stainless steel, the EX31 is a very versatile tap.
