Description

F150 machine dies are manufactured from High Speed steel for better performance and longer tool life. They can be used to create external British Standard Whitworth Fine (BSF) threads in many materials, including steels, aluminium and stainless steel, with an accurate screw thread to medium fit tolerance. They have a gun nosed geometry which directs chips away from the cutting edges to further improve performance, whilst the bright finish on F150 dies prevents workpiece material from sticking to the cutting edges of the tool which means a cleaner, more accurate finish to the threads.
