F310 adjustable dies should be used by hand when held in Dormer’s L110 or similar die stock. They will cut metric fine external threads in many materials including steels, stainless steel and aluminium and are designed to be adjusted so you can achieve the required fit or tolerance. They are manufactured from High Speed steel for improved performance and longer tool life, whilst the bright finish means you will get a cleaner, more accurate thread as the workpiece material will not stick to the cutting edges.
