G142 90 degree countersinks are designed to chamfer holes for standard fasteners with 90 degree heads. They have a reduced shank which means even large diameter countersinks can be held in standard holders and chucks. The countersinks can chamfer holes in many materials including steels, aluminium and stainless steel, being manufactured from premium High Speed steel. With a bright finish to prevent workpiece material from sticking to the cutting edge of the tool, you can be sure of a good, accurate finish. In addition to this, G142 countersinks have increased relief to provide a sharper edge which improves performance when machining sticky materials.
