G149 countersinks have a special cross-hole design which directs chips away from the cutting edge to give you a smooth chamfering operation whilst the bright finish prevents workpiece material from sticking to the cutting edges of the tool so you can be sure of a clean and accurate chamfer. The 90 degree countersinks are designed to chamfer holes for standard fasteners with 90 degree heads and are manufactured from High Speed cobalt so can be used to chamfer holes in a wide variety of materials including stainless steel, aluminium and steels. Finally, G149 countersinks have a reduced plain shank so even the larger diameter tools can be held in standard holders and chucks.
