G338 – 90 degree countersinks are manufactured to chamfer holes for standard fasteners with 90 degree heads. The premium High Speed steel used to make them means they are suitable to chamfer holes in a wide variety of materials including steels, aluminium and stainless steel. G338s can be used in machine applications where the countersink is held directly in the spindle. Improved performance when being used for extended periods at high speed and increased tool life are both achieved due to the titanium nitride coating. Finally, the reduced plain shank means all G338 countersinks can be held in standard holders and chucks, no matter what diameter.
