Part of Dormer’s carbide thread milling range of tools, J220 metric thread mills are suitable for machine thread milling both blind and through holes with either left or right hand threads. They are manufactured from premium carbide for extended tool life and superior performance in extreme conditions, and have a 10 degree spiral flute design, providing high strength for thread milling applications. The Alcrona coating improves performance when threading difficult to machine materials and further extends tool life. One J220 carbide thread mill can produce any size of thread with the same pitch.
