They can be used for roughing when plunging, ramping and profile milling in difficult materials such as heat resistant alloys and have an aluminium chrome nitride coating, particularly suited to the task and it also increases the service life of the tool. With a 40 degree helix with unequal flute divide to reduce vibration and improve performance when used in CNC machines, S264 milling cutters are manufactured from premium carbide for superior performance and longer tool life.
