S524 4-flute milling cutters are manufactured from premium carbide, providing extended tool life and superior performance. They have a long reach flute design with corner radius, giving high rigidity for standard profile milling in hard to reach areas needing a fillet radius, whilst the 40 degree helix gives high performance profiling on CNC machines. S524 milling cutters have a titanium silicon nitride coating for great results when milling difficult to machine materials and further extending the life of the tools. S524 milling cutters are application products – designed particularly for high speed machining in hardened tool steels up to 63HRC.
