S822 2-flute slot drills are manufactured from premium carbide and have a special Alcrona coating. These two features greatly improve tool life and provide superior performance, particularly when milling difficult to machine materials. With an accurate diameter and longer length flute, the tools are very rigid and can be used to mill standard keyway slots to a P9 tolerance. S822 2-flute end mills are very versatile and suitable for milling steels, stainless steel, cast iron and non-ferrous materials and can be used for plunging, ramping and profile milling.
