They are manufactured from premium carbide for superior performance and great tool life at high speeds, whilst the titanium carbo nitride coating further improves the life of the tap and gives good results when threading hard and abrasive materials. The straight flute design makes the taps ideal for threading both through and blind holes. Manufactured to conform to the German institute for standardization, T200 taps are very versatile, being suitable for machine tapping in tool steels, high silicon aluminium and various other hardened and abrasive materials.
