Part of Dormer’s premium carbide taps range, T206 machine taps will give you superior performance, coupled with longer tool life and are manufactured to conform to the German institute for standardization. A very versatile option, the taps can be used to machine tap in abrasive materials, such as cast iron and high silicon aluminium. They have a bright finish which prevents the workpiece material from sticking to the cutting edges of the tool so you get a clean and accurate finish. T206 carbide machine taps have a 15 degree spiral flute, making them ideal for threading holes which do not go all the way through the workpiece (blind holes).
