Dormer’s B161 chucking machine reamer gives you a hole within the limits of H7 tolerance (ISO limits and fit). It is manufactured from High Speed cobalt and is suitable for machining steels, aluminium, stainless steel and many other materials. To make sure the tool accurately locates and centers on the pre-drilled hole, it has a bevel lead of 3.45 degrees, so ensuring better hole quality and improved performance. Smooth reaming with improved hole size and surface finish is assured with the precision ground left hand helix and right hand cutting action whilst the taper shank means the tool can be used in machine applications where it is held directly in the spindle.
